23 projects and proposed laws

10 standing committees of the Chamber of Deputies met in a workshop from 5 to 8 April 2018, at the Royal Oasis Hotel, to work on 23 projects and proposals for laws taht must leadto the drafting of reports that will serve as a basis for discussions at sessions of the current month.

Washington : CARICOM Ambassadors' Caucus

A third meeting of the Caribbean Community's (CARICOM) Ambassadors' Caucus took place last week at the Embassy of Haiti in Washington. Bilateral and multilateral issues such as interaction with the US State Department and the participation of Caribbean States in the VIII Summit of the Americas were discussed between the Ambassadors present.

Towards the elaboration of a gender policy

A two-day workshop was organized to develop the Plan International Haiti's gender and influence policy. "It is time for us to see through our strategy (country aligned with the global strategy) how to tackle the root causes of the problems that prevent girls from leading, learning, deciding and flourishing," said representatives of International Haiti Plan.
