Haiti - Religion : 20,000 Adventist baptisms at Sylvio Cator Stadium

As part of the "Lord Transform Me" (LTM 2018) program, 70 missionaries from 34 different countries making up the 24 Inter-American Division (IAD) of Seventh-day Adventist Divisions are deployed to all regions of Haiti for a week of evangelization.

This Great Evangelical Campaign will end on Saturday, April 7, at the Sylvio Cator Stadium where 15,000 members are expected from 7:00 am to attend the Christian baptism (immersion) of 20,000 new converts. Pools will be installed on the Stadium's lawn for the occasion.

This event will be broadcast by satellite from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in all countries of the DIA, to allow the 3.7 million members to follow this grand ceremony. In Haiti the ceremony will be broadcast on ONTV (channel 46).

This Thursday and Friday, Adventist youth will be at the stadium and around the Sylvio Cator Stadium for remediation work. Police are already mobilized to ensure the safety of participants informed the organizers.
