Jorge Arreaza, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is in Haiti, as part of a tour he has been conducting since 1 February in Latin America and the Caribbean. This tour officially aims to strengthen ties of friendship, cooperation and promote the defense of the principle of sovereignty, while Venezuela is experiencing a major socio-political crisis, that its population is crushed by an inflation of 13,000% and that many sanctions of the international community and in particular of the United States, put under pressure its country and limit its economic capacities.

Several observers believe, however, that this tour aims to count its allies and friends and assess the support of Venezuela's partner countries, in this international wrestling...

The Chancellor, who has been to Cuba, Belize, Nicaragua, Suriname, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago, arrived in Haiti on Thursday night, where he was greeted by Haitian counterpart Antonio Rodrigue.
