Haiti - Social : The Haitian Chef Jouvens Jean, confirmed for the next Cooking Up History

The Embassy of Haiti in Washington, DC is pleased to announce that celebrity Haitian Chef Jouvens Jean has been confirmed for the Cooking Up History at the National Museum of American History and an Embassy Cooking Class.

Let's recall that once a month, the National Museum of American History hosts a cooking demonstration entitled "Cooking Up History" showcasing a guest chef and their Smithsonian Food History host preparing a recipe and talking about the history and traditions behind its ingredients, culinary techniques, and enjoyment. On Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1:00PM, Chef Jouvens Jean will turn up the heat on food history at this monthly free cooking demonstration and history program.

During his visit to Washington, Chef Jouvens will also join Ambassador Paul Altidor for a cooking class and dining experience at the Embassy of Haiti, on Sunday, February 11, 2018.
