Haiti - Religion : Mgr Max Leroy Mésidor expected in Croix-des-Bouquets

The Commune of the Croix-des-Bouquets is preparing to accommodate with dignity the new Metropolitan Archbishop of Port-au-Prince, His Excellency Monsignor Max Leroy Mésidor who will be passing through the commune this Thursday, January 4, 2018, as part of his official entry in the capital to 2 days of his canonical taking possession which will take place Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 9:00 at the Cathedral Notre-Dame of the Assumption of Port-au-Prince.

The Town Council of Croix-des-Bouquets, led by Mayor Rony Colin together with the heads of the various parishes in the Commune, has made all the necessary arrangements to welcome Mgr Mésidor.

Mayor Colin and several Catholic faithful of the Commune are already mobilized to welcome the Prelate at the intersection of the national road #1 1 and Route 9, where a stand was erected for the welcoming ceremony, the expression of the commitment of the Municipal Council to the religious cults and the crucienne population.

The new Archbishop appointed by Pope Francis on 7 October 2017 to replace Monsignor Guire Poulard should remain a moment to greet and bless the people of God.
