Haiti - FADH : First project entrusted to the military

Military engineers of the new Armed Forces of Haiti, with the support of more than thirty soldiers-technicians, have been working for almost a month, under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Works, to the rehabilitation of the 30 kilometers Road connecting the commune of Camp-Coq to Vaudreuil (Cap-Haitien).

This stretch of road, which was a real obstacle to trade between the regions, is the first project entrusted to the military since the remobilization of the FADH in November 2017. According to the authorities, this decision to entrust this type of work to the military, reflects the will of the Government to build an army at the service of Haiti's development. This work will open up more than one commune in the North department.

The soldiers laid bare the ground of the main segments (Camp-Coq - Limbé / Limbé - Acul du Nord / Acul du Nord - Vaudreuil), which will be followed by backfilling so that the Ministry of Public Works can proceed with paving of this important road infrastructure.
