Haiti - Petit-Goâve : The DGI blocked by trash and fecal matter

The Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) of Petit-Goâve, located at Street La Justice, was victim in the night of Sunday to Monday, of an act of vandalism. Unidentified individuals dumped a pile of all kinds of trash mixed with fecal matter in front of the office entrance barrier, which gave off an unbearable odor, blocking staff access to this important Public Service office.

According to several observers, this is a planned act, sponsored by a sector of the city that seeks to influence the DGI by using this repugnant way to intimidate employees.

It is now up to Justice to launch an investigation to apprehend the perpetrators of this unacceptable act in addition to being dangerous to the health of citizens.
