Haiti - Health : Project of a Hi-Tech analysis laboratory of nearly 1 billion gourdes
This week, Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafonfant met with a delegation of doctors from the Hospital of the State University of Haiti (HUEH), led by Dr. Malbranche, around the pilot project called "Laboratory of non-invasive cardiovascular investigations."
This hi-tech analysis laboratory has two major objectives: a better standard academic training for cardiologists and a cost-effective management of cardiovascular cases, such as the electrocardiogram.
The Head of Government is committed to the implementation of this project, whose total cost is currently estimated at more than 820 million gourdes.
