Haiti - Croix des Bouquet : Social housing project, the ULCB in Chile
A Mission of three members of the Sites and Services Pilot Project of the Unit of Construction of Housing and Public Buildings (UCLBP) is currently in Chile.
The main objective of this mission is to consolidate the organizational capacities of the team in charge of the social housing project in the city of La Tremblay (commune of Croix-des-Bouquets north of the capital) to better fulfill its mission through an adequate implementation of the respective components.
In particular, the strengthening of the beneficiary selection process focused on a project organization as a whole that takes into account the cross-cutting aspect of the process.
Recall that the Chilean Government, through the Agency for International Cooperation for Development (ACGID) and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development of Chile support Haiti, through UCLBP in carrying out this pilot project of subdivision according to the "Sites and Services" approach as part of the implementation of the National Housing and Habitate Policy.
