Monday Jean Claudy Pierre, the Director General of the Ministry of Justice proceeded to the installation of Jude Jacques Elibert, appointed by Presidential Order on October 31, 2017, as new Director General of the National Office of Identification (ONI). He replaces Mr. Wilson Fever at this position.

In his remarks of circumstance, Jean Claudy Pierre recalled the importance that the identification of the citizens hasfor the Administration Moïse-Lafontant and the remarkable results obtained by the outgoing Director to improve the accessibility of the service to the population to the identity, awarding him a reward for the work he has done.

While mentioning the usefulness and the importance of the Centers for Reception and Delivery of Documents of Identity (CRLDI) in the improvement of the services of identity to the population, he underlined to the new Director General the big challenges excepting him, remind him "[...] you do not have an obligation of means but of results !" Before wishing him courage and success in his new duties.

Outgoing Director Wilson Fièvre, invited ONI staff to work together "I count on your usual dynamism, your dedication and your professionalism to accompany the new Director on the road to success, in this difficult task entrusted to him by the President and the Prime Minister," promising to accompany Elibertof his advice reminding " the new DG and I have been working for a long time on technological issues for the state. He has all the skills and qualifications to further advance the institution [...]"

The new Director Elibert after the traditional thanks promised to put all his energy to succeed with the employees "Together, I am confident that we will succeed in reaching one of the greatest objectives of the President of the Republic which is to identify every Haitian, whether it is inside or outside the country. It is not a task entrusted to me but rather a mission that I make myself an obligation to succeed."
