Haiti - Technology : Natcom will deploy to MTPTC an office software

The Vietnam Army Telecommunications Group (Viettel) through its subsidiary Natcom in Haiti, will deploy its electronic document management system (N-Office) within the Ministry of Public Works (MTPTC) after a trial period which ended positively.

N-Office is the first project signed between Natcom and the Haitian Government and it is also the first step enabling Viettel to participate in e-government projects in the Haitian market.

Recall that N-Office electronic document management system, is a version of Viettel's office system (V-Office), in a full version adapted by Natcom to the specific needs of Haitian government bodies.

"We are very interested in the application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to improve work efficiency. After deploying as an N-Office test, the employees of the Ministry of Public Works were very satisfied with the simplicity and ease of use of this software [...]" said Minister Fritz Caillot.

According to Natcom CEO, Ha The Duong, "Natcom is committed to continuing to cooperate with Haiti by providing software and management systems to deploy e-government projects. The N-Office project between MTPTC and Natcom marks the beginning of a partnership and reaffirms Viettel's vision for creating a smart society, especially for developing countries where Viettel is present.
