Sunday at the Sylvio Cator stadium, as part of the grand final of the Caribbean Cup, the Haitian women's Under-17 (U-17) selection after crushing Port Rico [3-0] https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-22434-icihaiti-caribbean-cup-u17-grenadieres-crush-puerto-rico-[3-0].html humiliated Cuba [3-0] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-22472-haiti-news-zapping.html gave a tough lesson to Bermuda [4-1] winning the U-17 Caribbean Cup Champion Trophy.

A victory that also qualifies our young Grenadiers for the CONCACAF qualifier for the Uruguay 2018 World Cup.

From the outset our Grenadières take control of the ball and 8 minutes later on a shot from Milan Pierre, enter the first goal [1-0]. Danielle Etienne, to the 32' strengthens the score against Bermuda [2-0]. However, our Grenadières can not avoid a shot from Nia Christopher just before the half which scored the first goal for Bermuda [2-1].

At the return of the locker room, the Grenadières who have lost none of their energy, continue on the same pace. At the 60' Rachelle Caremus on a free kick scored a 3rd goal for Haiti [3-1]. To 79' Samantha Dumont scored the final goal of this great 2017 Caribbean Cup Final for Haiti [4- 1].

A tournament brilliantly won by our extraordinary Grenadières, 3 wins, 10 goals scored, 1 only cashed.
