Haiti - FLASH : 3 Haitians attack a minibus and injure two passengers in DR

Three Haitian citizens attacked a minibus of the "Asociación de Transporte Seybano" with stones, bottles and other objects on the interurban road in El Seibo (East of the Dominican Republic) at kilometer 11 with the intention of robbing the passengers.

A telephone call from a passenger alerted the police who quickly arrived at the scene was confronted with the Haitians in actions, which they quickly mastered and arrested.

The three perpetrators were identified as Ramon Yoset (32), Kenny Deimo Molsi (23) and Remolo Pierre (45) were accused of attacking a minibus with the intent to strip passengers of their belongings, causing a lot of damage to the vehicle and to have injured by bullet, with a artisanal weapon, a passenger who tried to oppose to their act.

Another passenger was injured during the attack by glass chips caused by a stone throw. The two wounded were taken to the hospital Doctor Teófilo Hernández of El Seibo.

The three Haitian detainees were handed over to the Public Prosecutor for legal consequences.
