Haiti - Economy : Sunrise Airways adds a new Boeing 737-800 to its fleet

On Monday, Haitian airline Sunrise Airways announced an order for a next-generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft, continuing the aggressive expansion of the Haiti-based company. This second 168-seat jet is being acquired through a wet lease agreement with Travel Service, the largest airline in the Czech Republic.

Sunrise Airways will deploy its new Boeing 737-800 on its new routes to Orlando and Miami https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-22016-haiti-economy-sunrise-airways-rates-for-direct-flights-miami-and-orlando.html from its hub in Port-au-Prince. The new Sunrise Airways service from Orlando begins October 18, 2017, while its flights to Miami will be launched on November 14, 2017.

"Our continued fleet expansion speaks to the tremendous potential we see in growing our route network within and beyond the Caribbean region, while also providing our customers with the very best inflight services and amenities in the skies," said Philippe Bayard, President of Sunrise Airways."

The new Boeing 737 from Sunrise Airways will feature two classes of services: business and economic, with a maximum of 168 passengers; 18 in business class, 150 in economics. Delivery is scheduled for the first week of October 2017.

The Sunrise Airways fleet also includes an Airbus A320 with 150 seats https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-19865-icihaiti-sunrise-airways-commissioning-of-an-airbus-a320.html , which is currently deployed along Sunrise Airways routes from its hub in Port-au-Prince to three gateways in Cuba : Havana, Santiago de Cuba, and Camaguey.
