Saturday Berger Milot, the alleged gang leader involved in at least 24 kidnappings between August 2015 and July 2017 in addition to the attack of the presidential motorcade https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-20605-haiti-flash-presidential-motorcade-attacked-moise-safe-and-sound.html who had escaped with 2 other detainees on the night from 12 to 13 August and who was actively wanted https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-21820-haiti-news-zapping.html has been arrested.

The arrest took place around 3:00 pm during a heavy-handed operation and shooting from the La Chapelle police, while Berger Milot and 3 others of his accomplices were aboard a truck carrying stolen goods and fleeing towards Mirebalais.
