Dr. Guiteau Jean-Pierre, President of the National Society of the Haitian Red Cross, learned with great emotion and sadness the news of the passing of Dr. Victor Laroche, former President of the Haitian Red Cross (1966-1985), Former Minister of Public Health and Population and eminent Professor of Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy (UEH), occured Sunday 6 August in his private residence.
"On behalf of the National Society of the Haitian Red Cross, President Guiteau Jean-Pierre presents all his sympathies to the family of the deceased, his children and especially his son, his colleague and friend, Dr. Ronald Laroche.
His condolences also go to all members and volunteers of the Haitian Red Cross afflicted by this mourning.
May the soul of our former President rest in peace in the gardens of the Lord !"
The funeral of Dr. Laroche will be sung this Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Church of Saint Pierre Petion-Ville at 8:30 am where the exhibition will take place from 7:30 am
