Haiti - Politics : Project to build 2,000 houses in the Great South
Wednesday in press conference, Avenide Joseph one of the 4 wpokespersons of the Presidency, confirmed the announcement of a project to build 2,000 houses in the departments of the Great South.
It would be a USD$ 15 million project, funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Each house will comprise between 2 and 3 bedrooms and will be built in strict accordance with para-cyclonic and anti-seismic standards.
The implementation of this project will be carried out by the Public Housing and Building Construction Unit (UCLBP) and the Public Company for the Promotion of Social Housing (EPPLS).
