Haiti - Duvalier : "Baby Doc" wants to stay in Haiti and make politics
19/01/2011 13:52:02

Haiti - Duvalier :

Former President Jean-Claude Duvalier intends to remain in Haiti to remain indefinitely where he plans to return in politics "He will forever remain in Haiti. This is his country", this was stated by Me Reynold Georges interviewed today at the Karibe Hotel, where the former dictator has lived since his return Sunday night "It will make politics too. It's his right. A politician never dies" added Me Reynold Georges, one of Duvalier's lawyers, following the charge of his client for corruption.

Me Georges has disputed this charge: "The facts are prescribed. You can not go back on these things, This is forbidden by law. It's persecution." The lawyer has accused the government of President René Préval of being behind the accusations against his client.
