After a spectacular and successful half season in France, Nérilia Mondésir aka "NériGol", the Haitian nugget of women's football returned to the country on Sunday. Her trip initially scheduled for Tuesday was advanced because of the death of Mrs. Vorbe, who deeply touched her, in order to be able to testify her grief and to attend the funeral of the mother of Philippe Vorbe, without whom she could not have traveled to France, succeed her internship and sign a 5-year contract including 2 as an intern and 3 as a professional in the Club Montpellier Hérault, first division of the French women's football league https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19906-haiti-flash-nerigol-left-haiti-for-club-montpellier-herault-france.html

For 18-year-old Nerilia, it was a spectacular entrance in the professional women's football in the World. Champion of France U19, scoring a superb goal in the final, succeeding in addition the crucial 1st penalty of the decisive series, qualifying her Club for the League of the champions.

Nerilia will be available on Tuesday 13 June between 10 am and midday at the FIFA Gol center for journalists and friends and will then travel to the Dominican Republic with her teammates for the start of the Challenge of the island of Haiti. On returning from the competition, she will pent two days in the North to greet her family before leaving the country.

"NériGol" will return to Haiti to play with the U20s, the first round of the FIFA U20 World Cup from 17 to 23 July at the Sylvio Cator stadium.

Nérilia Mondesir was born in February 1999 in Grand Pré (near quartier Morin, in the North department) is one of the best strikers in the history of Haitian football. Nicknamed "NériGol" because of its impressive record of goals scored, every time she has the ball Nérilia recorded in 2015, 33 goals in 17 matches played (including friendlies) with three different selections: 15 goals in 7 matches (U-17); 5 goals in 7 matches (U-20) and 13 goals in 3 matches (U-23). With 4 goals scored in the second round of qualifying for the World Cup Jordan 2016, she won the title of best player and shared with Jamaican Shaw Kadjina the Golden Boot of the Caribbean Championship 2015 U17.
