Thursday morning, the Haitian National Police (PNH) destroyed several tons of narcotics seized in various operations, including: 7,687.99 kg of marijuana, 173.1 kg of cocaine and 15.7 kg of heroin.

The operations took place in Ganthier, in the presence of Heidi Fortuné, Minister of Justice, Michel-Ange Gédéon, Director General of PNH, Claude Michel, Commissioner of the Government of Croix des Bouquets, of members of the Directorate Central of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), of the Drugs Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), the Minustah and the press.

Following this destruction operation, Minister Fortuné reiterated the determination of the Moïse/Lafontant Administration to work to intensify the fight against the drug scourge in Haiti.
