Donation of the French photographer Chantale Regnauld

French photographer Chantale Regnauld donated a series of photographs to the National Bureau of Ethnology (BNE). These photos taken in the 80s, highlight the elegance of hounsis (women initiated) in the lakou vodou souvnans mistik. New Directorate to the TNH

Jean Michel Lapin, the Director General of the Ministry of Culture, installed Gamall Jules Augustin as the new Director General of the National Television of Haiti (TNH). Michel Lapin invited the new DG to work for the TNH can play its full role in Haitian society in accordance with the wishes of the Executive.

France : Co-operation in the education sector

The French Ambassador accredited to Haiti, Ms. Elisabeth Béton Delegue, accompanied by Ms. Benedicte Gazon, Head of the French Development Agency (AFD) in Haiti, paid a courtesy visit to Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, the new Minister of National Education. Cooperation in education between Haiti and France was at the heart of the exchanges. Both sides reiterated their willingness to continue the ongoing cooperation in education and to strengthen them if necessary.
