Haiti - Football : Official Launch of the Civil Service Championship

Thursday, as part of the celebration of World Public Service Day (23 June), the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH) innovates by launching the First Edition of a football tournament of the Civil Service (FP), baptized "Fraternity Championship" which will involve the teams coming from more than twenty institutions.

Placing the activity in context, the General Coordinator ai of the OMRH Antoine Verdier emphasized that this activity addition to the need for public officials to engage in sport activities with a view to improving their health, will promote communication between FP agents.

Florence Nau, the representative of the Workers' Compensation, Sickness and Maternity Insurance Office (OFATMA) advised athletes to pay particular attention to their mode of consumption throughout the duration of the championship, recalling that "Public servants are covered by the OFATMA health insurance, doctors will be on site to help them if necessary."

For his part, Alain Lindor, public relations officer at the National Ambulance Center (CAN), said that a device is set up to rescue distressed players. The role of the CAN is to facilitate the evacuation of injured or unwell people.

Note that the opening match, PNH vs MEF, which will be preceded by an official ceremony will take place on April 1, 2017 at Parc Ste Thérèse de Pétion-ville. The event will start under 3:00 pm in the presence of the high authorities of the country. Admission 50 gdes, VIP 500 gdes.

The teams of these institutions participating in this tournament were divided into 6 groups by drawing, on March 23rd :

Group A: ONA, MAEC Ministry of Tourism, MICT

Group B: MENFP, OFATMA, UEH, MZEF

Group C: MCFDF, Ministry of Defense, MJSP, MPCE

Group D: MSPP, OAVCT, CONATEL, Parliament

Group E: Presidency, CEP, MDE, PNH

Group F: Primature, Ministry of Culture, MJSAC, EDH
