On Saturday, 18 March, Serge Barreau, the Police Commissioner of Petit-Goâve, defeated a plot aiming the escape of prisoners from the central prison of the Commissioner of the city.

A woman, Simplice Magalie, was arrested by the security forces for introducing in the prison a hacksaw hidden in a flask, said the Commissioner who opened an investigation to identify and apprehend other accomplices.

As part of this investigation, Petit-Goâve Police is appealing to all the citizens of the commune who would have seen a person identified as Guillaume Roland, one of the suspects in this escape plot.
