Haiti - Cholera Epidemic : The Asturias send a field hospital in Haiti 03/01/2011 10:18:39
The hospital, the first of its kind sent by the AAC, will be installed in Port-au-Prince and will coordinate with the Ministry with Health and Population (MSPP) and other humanitarian organizations, to fight against the cholera epidemic. Last cholera assessment: Since the beginning of the epidemic of cholera in the country (October 19, 2010), 148.787 people were infected and treated, 83.166 people were hospitalized and 3.333 people died.
