Haiti - NOTICE : Call for proposals of the Disability Rights Fund

The Disability Rights Fund is a grantmaking collaborative that provides grants to disabled persons organizations (DPOs) to strengthen their participation in the advancement of human rights and disability-inclusive development.

The Disability Rights Fund has two funding rounds per year: Requests for Proposals (RFPs) are publicized in February (Round 1) and July (Round 2). Each round addresses a different set of countries. For some countries, there is a two-step process that requires a Letter of Interest be submitted for review before organizations are asked to submit a full proposal.

2017 Countries

Round 1 countries: Ghana (by invitation only), Haiti, Indonesia (by invitation only), Malawi, and Myanmar.

A Letter of Interest (LoI) process was opened on January 5, 2017 to applicants from Indonesia who did not receive any DRF or DRAF funding in 2016. Successful LoI applicants from Indonesia, current Indonesian grantees, invited DRF/DRAF grantees from Ghana, and any DPOs from Haiti, Malawi, and Myanmar can submit full proposals following publication of the Request for Proposals (RFP) on February 9, 2017. Information about the RFP is described in more details bellow.

Deadline for submission of an application for funding is March 16, 2017.

Interested organizations are invited to read the eligibility criteria and all the details of the application as soon as possible on the Fund's website : https://www.disabilityrightsfund.org/for-grantseekers/

All questions about the application process should be directed to : info@disabilityrightsfund.org
