The musical tank of "Vwadezil" attacked

Monday, on the 2nd day of the Carnival in Port-au-Prince, the tank of "Vwadezil" was attacked by unidentified individuals. According to early reports, there would have been shots and probably a wounded person, creating a tension situation in the Champ de mars. The police responded quickly and took control of the situation.

Big ambition of the Mayor of Delmas

The mayor of Delmas Wilson Jeudy intends to increase the tax revenues of his commune to more than 800 million gourdes before the end of his mandate to allow among other things the realization of many infrastructures including several kilometers of road.

Inauguration of the Brooklyn Market

This Tuesday morning was held the inauguration ceremony of the rehabilitation projet of the Brooklyn Market, in Cité Soleil. Executed as part of the Minustah "quick-impact projects" program. Launch of the first Communal Call Centre

Jean Marie Altéma, the Director General of the National Council of Telecommunications (CONATEL) launched the first Communal Call Centre (Centre d'Appel Communal - CAC) of Les Cayes. This event was held at Carrefour Orel in the presence of several hundred people. On this occasion, Jean Marie Altéma handed over to the municipal authorities a lot of materials to be used for the operation of this call centre which has a short number 8086 very easy to use by the Cayenne population to communicate with the authorities in case of need.
