According to a report issued by the National Police of Haiti (PNH) Monday afternoon, for the first fat day of the National Carnival 2017 in Les Cayes, there were 2 wounded with white weapon ad 7 arrests (5 people for possession of counterfeit notes, 2 for disturbing public order, including a police officer in a state of intoxication who was not in service).

Meanwhile, the Cayes Immaculate Hospital, reported six admissions on Sunday, including five lightly wounded and one unconscious, all of them left on foot after receiving the care required by their condition.

For the Port-au-Prince Carnival, the PNH reports 10 wounded, two of them by bullets, by unidentified individuals unknown.

For this first day, no death is to be deplored in Les Cayes or in Port-au-Prince.
