In a correspondence the National Palace informs that the Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafontant appointed by the President of the Republic Jovenel Moses will be invested in his function at the National Palace this morning.

The ceremony will take place at the National Palace on Friday 24 February 2017 at 11:00 am.

Let's recall however that in accordance with Article 158 of the Constitution "The Prime Minister in agreement with the President chooses the members of his Cabinet and presents himself before the Parliament in order to obtain a vote of confidence on his policy statement.
