In the framework of the National Carnival 2017 which will take place in Les Cayes on the 26th, 27th and 28th of February, around the theme "N'ap Danse, N'ap Konstwi", was published in the official newspaper "Le Moniteur" N°25 dated Wednesday, February 15, 2017, the decree declaring, for public services, schools, trade and industry, public holiday and nonworking the days of :

- Monday, 27 February 2017, starting at noon;

- Tuesday, 28 February in its entirety;

- Wednesday, 1 March 2017 in its entirety.

On the same dates, the Carnival of Port-au-Prince will be held on the theme "An’n Fè Ayiti Reviv".
