The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) informs us that the national selection, the Grenadiers, left the country on Monday, December 26 at noon to Trinidad Tobago via Miami, in order to start preparatory stage relating to qualifying matches https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-19179-icihaiti-football-crushing-defeat-of-grenadiers-face-french-guiana-[2-5].html for the Gold Cup 2017, which will be played in Port of Spain on 4, 6 and 8 January 2017.

For this occasion, the Federation selected the Hotel Normandie of the Trinidadian capital as headquarters of the selection during this pre-qualifying stage.

The Grenadiers will start training on Tuesday. The FHF recalled that, given that these matches took place outside the FIFA periods, in addition to an early resumption of competitions in different countries, it was difficult to bring together the main players of the national team.

In Port of Spain the national team will be led by the deputy national coach Jean Claude Josaphat assisted by the physical trainer Pierre Chery Steven following the unavailability of the coach Patrice Neveu and his assistant Nicolas Santucci...
