Sunday 25 December, de facto President Jocelerme Privert, accompanied by his wife, Dr Ginette Michaud Privert, distributed toys and food kits to several hundred members of the population of Petit-Trou de Nippes, from where he is a native.

Christmasbeing a time of sharing and living together, the Head of State believes that it is necessary to celebrate, in his own way, with the members of the population that saw him born. While many parents from the various communal sections took their children to receive gifts from the First Lady, a large number of adults were able, fopr their part, receive theirs.

If Privert made happy in his commune, the latter is however, not the only one to have benefited from it. In almost all the main cities and communes of the country, vouchers have been distributed so that residents can receive gifts from the Presidency, on the occasion of the holidays and the New Year...
