A surface trough on the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic, a low-pressure zone in southwestern Jamaica and a cold front in the north of the island of Haiti, prolonged by a quasi-stationary front on the Windward Passage, influence the Meteorological situation in the Caribbean region, are causing showers and scattered thunderstorms on Haiti.

Forecast for elections of Sunday November 20, 2016 :

Port-au-Prince : Showers, probability of precipitation 80% more likely in the afternoon.

Cap-Haïtien : Showers, probability of precipitation 60%, more likely in the morning.

In Les Cayes : Mostly cloudy, the probability of raining will be 20%.

Jacmel : Showers, probability of precipitation 70%.
