The de facto President Jocelerme Privert, met at the National Palace, a delegation of the National Federation of Mayors (FENAM).

To this effect, he said that a support plan to the mayors is envisaged to improve the management of communities and enable them to better meet the needs of different communes.

Furthermore, as part of government actions to provide assistance to affected families following the passage of Hurricane Matthew, present mayors expressed their support to the approaches of the current administration to reach affected communities.
