The Minister Édouard, condemns in the strongest terms all acts likely to undermine the life and public order and informs that the General Inspectorate of the National Police of Haiti (IGPNH), was seized of the issue, and will be in Les Cayes shortly for the investigation, assess and take appropriate steps to restore order and improve security.

The Minister Camille Junior Édouard "presents its sympathies to the families and relatives of the victim and calls on the population to remain calm."
