35,000 hectares of coffee devastated

The National Institute of Coffee Haiti informs that more than 35 800 ha of coffee have been devastated in the Grande Anse, South, Nippes and some localities in Central, South East and North West. First responses is the funding of brigades (10 people per brigade) to clean plots and allow the flow of some money in the community. Finance at medium and long-term coffee nurseries and shelter trees for the establishment of 20,000 ha distributed in the affected localities. Finally a credit adapted to support new plots.

The PNH evaluates its intellectual resources

Thursday, the General Directorate of the National Police (PNH) met all alumni of the Chilean government at the National School of Police (ENP) in order to make an assessment of intellectual resources available to study a possible redeployment based on their skills.

Rudy Hériveaux warns the CEP

Privert met with deputies

Thursday at the National Palace, the de facto President Jocelerme Privert met with deputies of the various regions affected by the passage of Hurricane Matthew. The meeting, which was attended by the President of the Chamber of Deputies Cholzer Chancy, was intended to inform parliamentarians of the various initiatives taken in the context of post-Matthew management and invite them to work in the same direction.
