The vision of Jude Célestin, candidate for the presidency under the banner "Alternative League for Progress and of Haitian Emancipation" (LAPEH), is to build a politically stable and independent Haiti, open and prosperous economically, and socially just and supportive.

Jude Célestin, wants to engage in a political struggle for a country where hope would again be allowed and where we can finally find the socio-economic fundamentals that have been undermined for decades. The time is to the gathering and to the union of the positive forces of the country to choose, finally, a system of societal values and a model of government to which all Haitians will want to focus on and on which they can collectively build the country.

"To win this bet of modernity well adapted and constructive, we must act in favor of a shift towards a new economic and social order, breaking with the past without denying our history and our deep convictions, stay on realistic positions,offer a horizon of opportunities to the Haitian people, and especially provide concrete answers to its concerns," indicates the candidate in his program.

Among the major challenges, Jude Célestin highlights :

The challenge of the revision of the overall legal framework and strengthening national democratic institutions and civil society, because of blockages arising from inconsistencies in the 1987 Constitution;

The challenge of the fight against poverty because of the weakness observed in the current mechanisms of job creation and wealth distribution;

The challenge of building human and institutional capacities currently out of phase with the requirements of social cohesion and sustainable development.

Jude Célestin says he offers more than a partisan project of society, but rather a new contract socio-political progressive to the Haitian people.
