Haiti - France : Signature of a MoU on the Haitian territorial public service

François Anick Joseph, Minister of Interior and Territorial Communities (MICT), Vincent Potier, Director General of the National Center for French Territorial Public Service (CNFPT) and Ambassador of France in Haiti, Elisabeth Beton Delègue, signed in Paris, a memorandum of understanding to continue the support of the Haitian State in the structuring and implementation of a public service within local communities.

The MoU, that follows a first collaboration implemented between 2009 and 2013, fixed the main lines of partnership and the themes on which the CNFPT and MICT plan to collaborate.

It thus offers a framework to MICT to mobilize French expertise within the framework of various projects and programs whose it ensures or will provide project management. It also provides for the mobilization of territorial delegations of the Antilles and Guyana of CNFPT to animate the partnership and provide a collaborative regional framework.
