Haiti - NOTICE : Towards the end of the nightmare for the population of Frères

The Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs its customers that "arrangements are made for a regular power supply on the road of Frères, following the work to the substation of Tabarre that are completed and an extension of a distribution line being constructed."

Recall that for several weeks, residents of Pernier, CSPJ, School of Magistrates, Lower Road of Frères, Street Chancy, Colette, Street Gracien amoing others, are facing an irregular power distribution problem "due to overloading of the line that feeds them. Therefore, EDH was forced to power Frères in 3 segments with a strict schedule to satisfy its customers [...]"

The EDH technicians are working hard to complete the work of a new distribution line to solve the problem in the above areas.

Furthermore "the EDH deplores the actions of a few people in the Chancy Street at the entrance to the Church of St. Claire, who assaulted its technicians in the evening of 20 July 2016. It reminds them that such behavior prevent it from achieving its objectives for the realization construction work of the new line in good condition and on time [...]" the EDH calls for cooperation of residents of the street Chancy.

"[...] the EDH apologizes for any inconvenience that these cuts have led to its customers and ensures that all measures are taken to ensure proper service shortly. It also wishes to emphasize that the provisions are envisaged to ensure its service in other zones affected by the same situation."
