Concerning the possible immunity of Guy Philippe, candidate qualified for the second round of the Senate election for Grand'Anse, under the banner of "National Consortium of Political Parties" Marc André Cadostin, the Departmental Director of the National Police in South, explains that it is not to him to determine whether a wanted person is a candidate in the Senate or not, remembering that he must execute all warrants issued by the judicial authorities...

For their part, the leaders of the "National Consortium of Political Parties" continue to denounce a conspiracy of those in power, claiming that Guy Philippe is not involved in the attack against the Police Station of Les Cayes and that if he has again to rebel against authority (as in 2004) he would do it openly.

However, one may question the existence of a warrant against Guy Philippe, while the latter fully enjoys his freedom, not hiding and the police know where to find it...
