Haiti - Elections : Wyclef Jean feared a bloodbath if...

Wyclef Jean addressed to the media this morning to appeal for calm. He feared a bloodbath if the authorities do not find, in the next 24 hours, a solution to the political crisis.

Following to the position taken Sunday by 12 presidential candidates, which suggested a conspiracy "Government-CEP" and demanded, in a joint statement, the cancellation of elections, Wyclef demanded an independent investigation of the international community to make shed light on allegations of "massive fraud" responsible for this crisis.

As for know who is responsible, Wyclef said "Obviously [...] you all know, who is responsible. Party INITE of René Préval, you heard it on the street. I do not want to speculate... I want an investigation".

"I'm here because I don't want to see my country go up in flames"
