Monday at 2 days of the close of registration of presidential candidates, only 7 candidates have confirmed their participation in the planned elections on 9 October. For the moment, apart Maryse Narcisse of Fanmi Lavalas, no familiar faces or favorites yet confirmed its participation.

According to the Party "Pitit Dessalin" Moïse Jean-Charles Moses should confirm his candidacy Wednesday. Jude Célstin according our sources should do it Tuesday. Jovenel Moïse, Jean-Henry Céant as several other candidates waiting to see what is happening today in the National Assembly (if it takes place) regarding the future of Privert, before reacting accordingly.

Whatever the reasons for these potential candidates for the presidency of Haiti, according to the electoral timetable, they have until Wednesday, June 22 midnight to confirm their candidacy unless a decision of the CEP to extend this period as is traditionally the case for years...
