To start, 80 teachers will receive 1,737 hours of training designed in agreement with the Ministry of National Education based on three pillars: education, gender equity and pastoral

Teachers of the ESPESIL will obtain Superior Studies University Diplomas (DESU), issued in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education, Campus Henri Christophe of the UEH and the Public University of the East in Fort-Liberté.

The "École Supérieure du Professorat" offers 5 courses: university graduate degree in preschool education, university studies degree in teaching 1st and 2nd cycles of fundamental, university studies diploma in teaching 3rd fundamental cycle and at the secondary, graduate level university diploma in educational administration, graduate level university diploma in educational psychology.

According to official figures cited by "Foi et Joie Haïti" "[...] 85% of teachers working at the fundamental level in Haiti do not have the necessary qualifications and only 10% are normaliens. At secondary level the figure is barely higher with 13% of teachers who graduated from the Ecole Normale Superieure."
