In a note, the Collective of December 4, very concerned about the socio-political situation the country finds that it becomes increasingly bewildering and revolting that every time the security situation becomes alarming, the authorities concerned take bad habit of penalizing legal owners of firearms instead of assuming its responsibilities in disarming the thugs to protect the population, officials of the public Security delight to revoke the regular license to carry firearms.

"[...] Is this decision really seeks to protect people or to make it easier for bandits who not only act with impunity, but also resort to illegal weapons to commit their crime ? The authorities of our country do they know to what they expose the ordinary citizens or business owners who, being left to their fate without possibility of self-defense must rely totally on a PNH often defeated the either through lack of staff or lack of equipment ?

[...] The Collective of December 4, asks the National Police of Haiti (PNH) and its regulatory authorities to assume their responsibilities and understand the scope of the impact of their decisions that endanger the lives of peaceful citizens that they had a duty to protect.

The Collective calls for the withdrawal without delay of the decision to weapons prohibition for the benefit of honest citizens who have the right to defend their property, their lives, their family or their relatives; of entrepreneurs and investors creators of jobs that only require a secure environment. provide for the suspension of road transport, the closure of gas stations, shops and businesses, until the return to normal ?
