While almost daily for one week members of the Verification Commission, including François Benoît, its President, claimed that the report would meet its deadline and would be presented Sunday, May 29, it has not happened.

Of informations circulated to the effect that the delay was due to late data received by the Commission... However, later in the day, in an official statement of the Independent Commission of Evaluation and Electoral Verification (CIEVE) states...

The Independent Commission of Evaluation and Electoral Verification (CIEVE) is pleased to inform you that it intends to submit its report Monday, May 30, 2016 to His Excellency the President of the Republic. As agreed with Mr. Daly Valet, Liaison Officer between the Presidency and the Commission, this presentation will take place at 4 p.m.

The Commission wishes be able to have a preliminary talks with His Excellency Jocelerme Privert for the purpose of personally inform him of the content of the report.

The CIEVE ask you to receive, Mr. Secretary General of the Presidency, its patriotic greetings.

Two questions arise: Why this meeting with President a.i Privert did not take place on Sunday as he was available, since he was waiting for this report ? Secondly, why the Commission needs a a preliminary meeting with President a.i. Privert, before handing its report ?
