Haiti - Sports : D-2, CONCACAF Women’s Day 2016

Like the CONCACAF Women’s Day 2015 during which 37 of the 41 federations of the zone participated, again this year, CONCACAF women's football day (Saturday 21 May), should be a nice celebration at which 41 countries should participate the same day, to activities suggested such as : Grassroots Festival; Tournaments 3 x 3; Tournament 5 vs 5 and Football still Challengers.

In Haiti, a Commission of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), chaired by Monique André, a member of the federal office, working on organizing the day's activities. Former players of the Haitian women's football like Fiorda Charles, Gina Montina, Natacha Cajuste, Nela Joseph, Dulia Dupont among others, are also part of this Special Commission.

In addition to the promotion in the media, the Commission plans to organize Saturday at the National Stadium Sylvio Cator, starting at 10:00 am, a football festival at the level of young girls, which will end with a match on the same day.

Recall that the Concacaf day of women's football is an initiative to showcase the girls and women who play football in North America, Central America and the Caribbean (Concacaf Zones).

The Haitian men and women, women's football fans are expected in large numbers Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Sylvio Cator stadium, to show their support to our players and encourage more girls who are already engaged, to persevere and especially to sensitize unwilling parents to allow their children playing football.
