Vanel Lacroix, the police commissioner of Petion-Ville, confirmed that four French cooperants were attacked on Sunday by inhabitants of Petion-Ville. One of cooperant would have been injured. The perpetrators of this attack have not been identified so far, no arrests were reported.

According to police, the probable origin of this attack could be caused by the growing of tension between population and Minustah accused of being behind the Cholera in Haiti. An unfortunate confusion, fueled by fear of the epidemic which is now spreading in the ten departments.
