Haiti - Politic : The Ministers of Health and Justice convened
Deputy Sinal Bertrand, President of the Health Commission in the lower house, has convened for April 14, 2016 Daphnée Benoît Delsoin, the Minister of Public Health and Population and Me Camille Junior Edouard, Minister of Justice and Public Security as well as the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH).
These 3 authorities will have to provide explanations about several sensitive issues including on the security situation at the Hospital of the State University of Haiti (HUEH) that prevents it from functioning 24/24 and on use of an European Union funds of 2 million originally allocated to the National laboratory of Public Health, and whose a part of it would have benefited in fact the GHESKIO laboratory.
