Wednesday at the Karibe Convention Center President a.i. Jocelerme Privert, participated in the launch of the two-day governmental retreat which brought together the Prime Minister, Enex Jean-Charles, and members of his Cabinet for a series of exchanges that should leading to the draft of the Government Action Plan.

By his presence, the Head of State wished to provide solidarity and support for all actions to be undertaken to meet the needs of the population. To the Ministers, the Head of State required them the serenity and sense of duty, also he invited the Head of Government, to show consistency, responsible solidarity and promote solidarity between the legislative and executive saying "We have no right to failure," asking the government to define its priorities and identify resources to cope with the crisis. Urging the new government to be as transparent as possible and communicate its actions to the population, which will be able to appreciate the limitations. "It is through transparency that we can have the support of the population for the rigorous and essential steps that you are required to take for the good of the country."

For his part, the Prime Minister, while welcoming the commitment and support of President Privert to the cause of the Haitian people, recalled the heavy responsibility of his government to transform the vision of the Chief of State through the agreement of February 5, 2016 and the commitments thereunder, into concrete actions "These draft Government Action Plan should allow a strong government action, focused and prioritized. This Action Plan must also be to inform the scope of responsibilities of each minister in order to identify the tools available for the implementation of the activities of their respective ministry," stressed the Prime Minister.
