As part of activities dedicated to the month of women, for the fourth year, the Beacon of Hope and Achievement Award ceremony, was held Tuesday evening at the Moca Café in North Miami. The opportunity to pay tribute to women business leaders of the Haitian community : Caroline Prato Zenny, Béatrice Cazeau, Jessie Alkhal, Marie Louissaint, Jeannifer M. Bonnet, Nathalie Vertus, Sandra Pierre, Guerline Dossous, Carline Phanor, Murielle LeConte, Wanda Gilles, Kara Vaval Ferrier and Dorice Vaval.

The well-deserving honorees received their award in the presence of their supporting families and friends, past honorees, the Consulate General in Miami staff, members of the press and important leaders in the community at large.

These laureates, true sources of inspiration remind us all with pride, the influence and the important role they play in the Haitian diaspora community.
