Haiti - Dominican Republic : OFNAC finally granted the permit to fly to Air Century

After 8 months of efforts of the Dominican airline Air Century, of mutism and blockages on the Haitian side and various pressures of the dominican "Junta de Aviación Civil" (JAC) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16886-haiti-dominican-republic-towards-a-commercial-air-conflict.html Air Century announced last evening that it had finally obtain the authorization of the National Office of Civil Aviation of Haiti (OFNAC).
"From Monday, March 28, Air Century will operate regular daily flights from the International Airport Dr Joaquin Balaguer (JBQ) to the Toussaint Louverture International Airport to Port-au-Prince (PAP) and vice versa to Santo Domingo with its Saab 340B aircraft (34 passengers) and Jetstream 32 (19 passengers)," said the statement of the Dominican company that will now compete with the Haitian company Sunrise Airways on that route.
Note that this authorization was given after the Dominican company had complained of difficulties in the beginning of its operations in Haiti, due to unexplained delays in OFNAC and that Air Century has requested the intervention of the dominican "Junta de Aviación Civil" to unlock this file https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16766-haiti-flash-dr-temporarily-suspends-flights-of-sunrise-airways.html
